IMPD: Man found shot on porch dies

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis police are searching for the person who pulled the trigger in a deadly shooting early Thursday morning.

It happened in the 3400 block of Ralston Avenue just after midnight.

Police say when they got to the house, they found a man lying on the porch, shot in the head.

He was rushed to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim was later identified as 33-year-old Rodney Brown.

Police are looking for any possible witnesses or suspects, but they say they do not believe this was a random act.
