Police in Madison County investigating armed robbery

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, a convenience store in the southwestern part of Madison County fell victim to an armed robbery.

Police say the robbery occurred around 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at a Ricker’s Petro Mart.

Police go on to say that a white male standing about 5′ 6″ entered the store with a black paintball mask covering his face.

He then brandished a gun and began demanding money from the cashier.

At that point, the suspect fled the store, exiting through the back door with an undisclosed amount of money.
