Cummins signs contract with Department of Defense

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A Columbus based corporation has inked a U.S. military deal. Also, consumer groups say the Anthem-Cigna merger is a bad idea.

Jane King was on Daybreak Friday morning with these and other local and national business headlines.

Columbus based Cummins has secured a nearly $21.5 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense. The work involves up to 160 diesel engines.

The facilities in Columbus and Seymour will handle the work involved in the deal.
