Piece of former World Trade Center on display in Noblesville

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A piece of a steel beam from the former World Trade Center in New York City is in Noblesville.

It’s on display at the Carpet One store.

It’s part of the company partnership with the Steve Siller Foundation, which builds smart homes for disabled veterans.

Siller was a New York City firefighter who was on his way home from an overnight shift on Sep. 11, 2001, when he heard the radio call about a plane that hit the towers.

Carpet One provided the labor to build the smart homes.
