Emergency crews respond to late morning house fire

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Fire crews received a call of a house fire around 11:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene minutes later and then began putting out the fire.

According to crews on scene, the fire happened in an abandoned house in the 2600 block of Foltz Street that has been vacant for multiple years.

Fire officials went on to say that there was no one in the house at the time of the fire and that no one was hurt.

Arson investigators were called to the scene as the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
