INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A potent system this weekend could bring impressive amounts of rainfall to central Indiana.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch starting Saturday afternoon.
Steady showers are expected Saturday afternoon, with little break in the rain through Monday evening.
Moderate to heavy rain at times can be expected through the three-day period, with even a few isolated thunderstorms possible Saturday night.
Rainfall amounts through Monday could exceed 4″, which could lead some flooding for portions of central Indiana.
The flash flood watch remains in effect until Monday evening.
