INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A New Mexico company is working on a new type of hoverboard.

Arca Space Corporation created the ArcaBoard. It’s powered by 36 high-powered electric ducted fans and it has a built-in stabilization unit.

It takes about six hours to charge, and depending on the users weight, riders can get up to six minutes of hovering.

The company said the ArcaBoard is in the experimental stages. The board costs nearly $20,000.
