LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) — The wind and rain Monday morning caused a large number of power outages in Boone County.
According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, a large outage was reported around 6:30 a.m. on the north side of Lebanon. Officials said most of the outages were around State Road 39.
Boone County dispatchers said all stop lights on the north side of the city were out around 7 a.m. They said a tree fell and took down power lines, causing several transformers to blow.
There wasn’t an estimate for when power would be restored.
Officials remind drivers to treat intersections as four-way stops while stoplights are out.
