PAOLI, Ind. (WISH) — A woman who drove her overweight semi through a southern Indiana bridge, causing it to collapse, will pay a small fine.

It happened Christmas Day in Paoli, which is in Orange County.

Police say the driver, Mary Lambright, didn’t know how heavy her truck was.

Lambright will have to pay a $135 fine.

Signs are posted that say trucks that weigh over 6 tons are banned from the bridge.

Police say her truck weighed almost 30 tons.
