Colts players, cheerleaders bring joy to patients at Riley Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The holiday season is a terrific time of year, but for others it can be a difficult period.

In order to help spread some cheer, several Indianapolis Colts players and cheerleaders spent the day caroling to the patients at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.

Jack Mewhort, Matt Overton and even Andrew Luck took some time out of their day to help put some smiles on the faces of children.

Blue, the Colts mascot, even got in the act and showed off his pipes during the caroling.

Caroling in the halls of Riley to the children has become an annual tradition started by owner Jim Isray.

The Colts face off against the Titans in the final game of the season.
