Colts waive WR Whalen
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Colts on Friday waived wide receiver Griff Whalen.
The Colts put Whalen on the season-ending injured reserve list on Dec. 21.
Whalen was one of the players involved in a play earlier this season that got the Colts a lot of attention for play-calling – but not in a good way. Many people mocked the play call as one of the worst plays in NFL history.
