Fishers man arrested in Columbus on meth related charges
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – A man from Fishers was arrested on Tuesday in Columbus on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, according to a police spokesman.
Police say they arrested 25-year-old Elias Rios outside a home in the 2700 block of Griffa Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
Sgt. Matt Harris with the Columbus Police Department told 24-Hour News 8’s partners at The Republic that police got a call about a suspicious person in the back yard of a home.
Officers found Rios lying down near a residence. Police say they found a small bag of meth where Rios had been lying.
