Three Greenwood Park Mall stores targeted in recent break-ins

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Three stores at the Greenwood Park Mall were broken into and several items were stolen, according to police officials.

According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners at the Daily Journal, the thieves stole more than $6,000 in cash. The items were stolen some time on Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

The three stores, Torrid, Shi and Zumiez are in the same corridor in the mall. Thieves took cash from the register and a safe from one store. They also took items including, a camera, watches and jewelry.

The police report states that $2,813 was missing from Torrid’s safe. Shi has $600 in cash stolen from their registers. And Zumiez reported a camera, $2,000 in watches and jewelry along with $800 in cash stolen from their store.

Greenwood police were looking for suspects in the case.
