100 new jobs coming to Johnson County by 2019

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – Franklin will soon be home to a new 84 Lumber Company plant and will bring in up to 100 new jobs by 2019.

The company has purchased the former Trussway facility at 1850 North Graham Road. They will renovate the 84,000 square foot building beginning in January.

In February, 84 Lumber Company will begin hiring plant managers and production associates.

“The city of Franklin is extremely excited to welcome 84 Lumber to our community,” said Franklin Mayor Joe McGuinness. “We are fortunate to be chosen as the site for their next project. 84 Lumber is a well-known, highly respected brand and we look forward to helping them grow in Franklin.”

The company currently employs over 4,600 employees across the nation with about 250 stores in the U.S.
