Over 100 painkillers found during routine traffic stop

FORTVILLE, Ind. (WISH)- Two men await trials after police found over 100 painkillers in their car during a traffic stop last week.

29-year-old Christopher Ryan Jackson, of Fishers, and 25-year-old Tyrone Johnson, of Indianapolis are being held at the Hancock County Jail. They were both charged this week with multiple possession charges, according to 24-Hour News 8’s partner, Greenfield Daily Reporter.

The car was stopped because the headlights weren’t on. During the stop, Jackson admitted there were drugs in the car. Police found narcotics, heroin and marijuana.

Both men pleaded not guilty to all charges. If convicted, they could each serve anywhere from 10 to 30 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
