Wheeler Mission seeing an increase in guests due to weather

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Wheeler Mission is seeing an increase of guests due to the latest batch of winter weather.

24-Hour News 8 recently stopped by and the mission says they are experiencing such a high number of guests, that they are almost at capacity.

The shelter has the capacity to hold up to 350 men and thanks to a recent donation from the United Way, many had cots and others had mats to sleep on.

The shelter says they are still in need of donations of things like pajamas, socks, and cots.

And as always, donating money is always a great way to give back.
