IMPD: Person shot near Washington and Arlington
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A person was shot on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday morning, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
It happened in the 300 block of South Webster Avenue around 11 a.m. This is in the area of South Arlington Avenue and East Washington Street.
According to IMPD, the victim was alert and conscious after the shooting and taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition.
Few details about a suspect description were available. The shooter was said to be a male in his 30s.
