Police in Columbus looking into several cases of counterfeit money

COLUMBUS,Ind. (WISH) – The Columbus Police are investigating more than 10 recent incidents of counterfeit bills.

According to the Columbus Police Department, 12 incidents of counterfeit bills have been reported in Columbus in the month of January.

Police go on to say that the fake bills have been made up of mainly 10 and 20 dollar bills.

However, police also say that one 100 bill has been spotted.

Primarily, the bills have been used at gas stations and fast food restaurants.
