INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Following the State of the State address, faith leaders who support civil rights for the LGBT community gathered at the Statehouse.

The group, holdings signs that said “It’s time for statewide LGBT non-discrimination, greeted lawmakers.

Members of the group said their intention was to make lawmakers aware that there are people of faith that believe in LGBT civil rights.

Group members went on to say that everyone deserves to be protected.
