INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There will be no trash pick-up in Indianapolis Wednesday because of the extreme cold.

The Indianapolis Department of Public Works made the announcement around 7 a.m. The department said trash, heavy trash and curbside recycling pick-up will run one day behind schedule, weather permitting.

The cancellation applies to all DPW trash routes and all trash routes serviced by contracted trash collectors.
