WISH-TV launches new ‘Justice Network’ on Channel 8.3
Indianapolis, Indiana – January 13, 2016 – WISH-TV announced today that it has launched a new digital subchannel on Channel 8.3 called the “Justice Network.”
Justice Network is a 24/7 broadcast television network that entertains and informs its viewers with gripping crime and investigation programming while making communities safer by catching fugitives, finding missing children and providing safety tips for viewers. The first-of-its-kind public service initiative is hosted by Emmy award-winning broadcaster John Walsh, former host of America’s Most Wanted.
“Crime is a growing problem,” said Les Vann, WISH-TV, President and General Manager. “By making Justice Network available to our viewers, we are helping to keep Central Indiana safer. We’re proud to offer this mission-driven programming that gives our local audiences an opportunity to help track down most wanted criminals and missing children and make a real difference in people’s lives.”
Justice Network will replace WISH-TV’s existing weather radar on Channel 8.3.

Justice Network features stories of true crime and aims to make communities safer by empowering viewers to take action. Working in partnership with Crime Stoppers USA, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and other law enforcement agencies, the Justice Network dedicates 90 seconds to public service every hour, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This includes: 30 seconds to “Bad Person of the Week”, :30 seconds to help locate missing children, and :30 seconds to providing viewers with invaluable safety tips.
