Indiana teen indicted in 2015 crash that killed 3
NEWPORT, Ind. (AP) – A western Indiana teenager has been indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges in a 2015 crash that killed three other teens.
Charges in the grand jury indictment against 19-year-old Ethan Lee of Cayuga include reckless homicide, criminal mischief and reckless driving.
A judge issued a warrant for Lee’s arrest following the indictment. Lee turned himself in to the Vermillion County Jail on Thursday evening and was released on $15,000 bond.
Lee was the driver of a pickup that crashed into a business in January 2015 in Cayuga, which is about 35 miles north of Terre Haute. The crash killed 18-year-old Braeden Hollowell of Cayuga, 18-year-old Annie Clark and her 16-year-old sister, Caroline, both of Muncie.
Online court records did not list an attorney for Lee who could comment on his behalf.
