Josh Speidel attends first day of college
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Josh Speidel attended his first day at Ivy Tech Community College.
Speidel was seriously injured in a car crash in February 2014.
The Columbus North basketball star was so badly injured, his chances of recovery were slim.
While attending physical therapy, as well as occupational, speech and vision therapy three days a week, Speidel earned his high school diploma, and was even able to walk back into the hospital to thank his caregivers.He has a scholarship waiting for him at the University of Vermont, whenever he’s ready.
