Gravel-toting truck tips over in Columbus

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A driver suffered only minor injuries after the truck he was driving overturned in Columbus.

It happened Monday around 2:15 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to 450 S and 400 W and found the vehicle on its side. They say it was hauling gravel.

The 24-year-old driver from Seymour was heading westbound on 450 S when he lost control as he turned onto 400 W, police say. The weight of the gravel shifted, causing the truck to roll.

The driver was treated at the scene.
