IMPD opens new Data Center

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett and Police Chief Troy Riggs are hoping to cut down on crime.

In order to make that happen, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department opened a new Data Center.

The center will provide immediate information to local, state and federal law enforcement.

According to the new Mayor, IMPD’s new tool in fighting crime gives officers more information about possible suspects stopped.
