Man dies in Gibson County farming accident
PRINCETON, Ind. (AP) – A man has died in a farming accident in Gibson County at a site near U.S. Highway 41.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says an unresponsive male was found pinned beneath a tree shortly before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Efforts to revive the man were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The department says no foul play is suspected and alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor in the man’s death. An autopsy is scheduled Wednesday morning in Terre Haute.
The county coroner plans to release the man’s name when the death investigation is complete.
