Poll shows RFRA still affects how people view Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new poll shows that RFRA continues to affect how people think of Indianapolis.

The Visit Indy poll, taken in October, surveyed convention planners and tourists from Chicago.

According to the poll, only 45 percent of “decision makers” feel that “Indy Welcomes All.”

When it came to tourists, that number dropped to 43 percent who believed that statement.

The survey also asked respondents how they viewed the entire state of Indiana.

Only 28 percent of convention planners and 38 percent of tourists believed that “Indiana Welcomes All.”
