Muncie pair arrested after police find meth lab in home
MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) -Indiana State Police say two men have been arrested after police discovered a meth lab inside their home.
According to ISP, 45-year-old Glen Hatfield and his cousin 46-year-old Kevin Hatfield were arrested on Wednesday at a home in the 1400 block of Burlington Drive in Muncie.
Police were at the home on a search warrant when they discovered the meth in the home. Police say the investigation began on Dec. 13 after Glen crashed his pick up into a creek on State Road 3 and US 40 in Dunreith. Police say the crash lead them to serve a search warrant at the home.
Glen was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a handgun without a license from the December crash. Police also preliminarily charged him with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors and possession of a syringe.
Kevin was wanted on a warrant out of Delaware County for theft.
Glen was taken to the Delaware County Jail. Kevin was taken to the Henry County Jail.
