Peru man jailed for child pornography
PERU, Ind. (WISH) – A Peru man was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of child pornography and child exploration, according to Indiana State Police.
ISP and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 61-year-old Larry Owen on warrant for 25 counts of possession of child porn.
Police began their investigation when they found that Owen might be in possession of inappropriate images of children. Owens home was searched and investigators found evidence of child porn at the home.
Owen was booked in the Miami County Jail. He was later released on bond.
