IMPD responds to shooting on Indy’s northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were on the scene of person shot on early Friday morning.

IMPD dispatchers confirmed a person was shot around 4:50 a.m. in the 3200 block of Heather Ridge Drive. They say the male victim was awake and breathing at the scene.

Medics were transporting the victim to a local hospital.

According to dispatchers, the suspect shoot the victim through the door of the apartment.
