Animals know how to enjoy #blizzard2016

WASHINGTON (MEDIA GENERAL) – At the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC, giant panda, Tian Tian, “woke up this morning to a lot of snow and he was pretty excited about it.” The zoo shared that news along with a few other priceless videos on its Facebook page this morning.

Animals seem to know something about enjoying this winter wonderland. Despite #blizzard2016, pandas, giraffes, and even monkeys are taking it easy and playing around.

At the John Ball Zoo, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, lots of animals get to enjoy the snow, not just the obvious snow lovers. The spider monkeys below had a blast finding treats in these snowmen. Don’t worry, the orange one is just covered in jello powder.

The Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington DC also brought in the snow for some of its primates.
