Multi-year deal signed to keep NFL Combine in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The NFL’s Combine will be staying in Indianapolis for several more years.

According to Chris Gahl, Visit Indy’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the agreement to keep the NFL’s college scouting combine in Indianapolis was finalized this week.

According to the agreement, it will remain in Indianapolis for 2016 and 2017.  The contract also comes with three one-year options for the following three years, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

Gahl also mentioned that the agreement had been in the works since February of 2014 and was not sparked by talk of the Combine possibly moving to Los Angeles.
