Malls see decline; Facebook shares soar

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Interest in malls could be declining, according to research by Green Street Advisors.

The research indicated that occupancy is declining at malls. Simon Malls is expected to release its earnings Friday.

In other business headlines, Eli Lilly investors will be taking a close look at the company’s earnings report Thursday. Investors will be looking to see how the diabetes unit is doing, if any mergers are on the horizon and where the company may plan to cut costs.

Facebook’s shares are performing well, as its mobile ad business excels – making up 80 percent of its ad revenue. It indicates more Facebook users are using the social network via smartphones.
