FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A Fort Wayne husband and wife are lucky enough to be repeat volunteers for arguably the biggest sporting on television every year.
Kevin and Colleen Bolger will be heading to San Francisco Tuesday to help put on Super Bowl 50.
For the past five years, both have volunteered with the group responsible for making the half-time show a success. It all started at Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. A friend called and asked Kevin if he would volunteer in Indianapolis for the big game.
“Once you do it one time you get hooked,” Kevin said. “We got to go behind the scenes and you’re in the tunnel with the players and just seeing the people, you never know who you’re going to meet.”
Beyond Indy, the couple has now visited New Orleans, Louisiana, East Rutherford, New Jersey, Phoenix, Arizona, and now they will take on The Golden Gate City.
