Woman sentenced to home detention for 2015 hit-and-run
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One woman has been sentenced to one-year home detention for a hit-and-run-accident that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Jessica Livengood received the sentence as part of a plea deal for the February 2015 accident that injured Victor Ramirez.
Ramirez was crossing attempting to cross Pendleton Pike when Livengood struck him. Livengood fled scene after hitting Ramirez.
The victim suffered a broken neck, broken ribs, and head injuries.
Livengood later turned herself into police in March 2015.
She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing bodily injury.
