Zoobilation tickets are on sale NOW

It’s that time of year again! Tickets for Indiana’s largest and most anticipated black-tie fundraiser, Zoobilation 2016 Keeping It Wild are on sale now. Hurry, they will sell out fast!

This year’s event will take place on Friday, June 10! Here are a few details about the big night:

  • Zoobilation presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company is the largest black-tie fundraiser in Indiana. Last year’s event raised more than $2 million to fund animal care and conservation programs at the Indianapolis Zoo.
  • The Zoo hosts this fundraiser each year on the second Friday in June. So for 2016, the event will take place on June 10.
  • 2016 will be the 30th year the Zoo has hosted this spectacular event, and in recognition of that milestone, the theme will be Keeping It Wild. So expect lots of color and animal prints for a night of wild fun.
  • Zoobilation brings the area’s best food, drinks and entertainment all to one place for one amazing night. Guests can sample foods from 70 finest restaurants, sip top-shelf beverages from 13 bars and enjoy live music from nine of the area’s hottest acts.
  • Zoobilation has become one of the city’s most anticipated events, and we’re honored that the event was recently included as one of the 15 Monumental Things to Do in Downtown Indy. With all the excitement around this event, it typically sells out in just days. Tickets go on sale Feb. 1, so log on to www.IndianapolisZoo.com that morning to get your tickets before they’re gone.
  • Zoobilation wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of the restaurants. In total, guests will sample about 250,000 delicious bites, and most people don’t realize that the 70 participating eateries donate ALL their food and time.
  • The volunteer effort for this event is incredible! The Zoo will be closed to the public that Friday while more than 200 volunteers work 800-plus hours in preparation for this lavish evening. Much of that work happens overnight so that the Zoo can reopen to the public Saturday morning without even a hint of the party that happened the night before.
  • Tickets start at $250 for members and $275 for non-members. Party goers who are looking to go all out for the evening can also upgrade to the Premium Experience presented by Ice Miller to enjoy early access to the event and other exclusive benefits. Those tickets sell for $450 for members and $475 for non-members.
