4,000 without power due to a squirrel
DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — More than 4,000 people in Delaware County are currently without a power.
The cause? Indiana Michigan Power says a squirrel got into a substation.
Power is expected to be back on for about 1,000 customers at 4 p.m. when one circuit is restored. Two more circuits should be back on around 4:30 p.m.
4,072 outages were listed in Delaware County as of 3:43 p.m.
