Aramark employee arrested for trafficking drugs to inmates

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – Officials say they’ve arrested an Aramark Contract Staff employee for trafficking drugs inside the Plainfield Correctional Facility.

The employee, Tawny Jackson, was arrested on Tuesday for trafficking with an offender and dealing in synthetic marijuana.

Investigators believe that Jackson was trafficking spice and tobacco into the prison. During an interview, Jackson admitted to bringing the drugs into the jail.

Police found 55 grams of spice on Jackson during the interview.

Jackson was transported to the Hendricks County Jail.
