Water is the price of admission for local music event
It’s generosity at its finest! Musicians Patrick Roberts and Kyle Perkon stopped by Indy Style to tell us about a live music event Saturday that’s helping the folks in Flint, Michigan deal with their water crisis.
Here are the details:
• The event takes place on Saturday, February 6th at Fountain Square Brewery. Two stages of live music beginning at 3pm until 11:00pm.
• The event was conceived and organized by the members of Indianapolis-based rock group, Veseria.
• Some of the biggest names in local music will be performing including Audiodacity, Moxxie and Veseria.
• Cost of admission is (1) case of water, (1) gallon of water or $5 minimum donation.
• A portion of all beer sales from the evening will also be donated to the Flint Water Fund.
• Because of the generosity of the performers, artists, sponsors and the United Way of Genessee County, 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to the people of Flint, Michigan via the United Way of Genesee County.
