Jail visitor arrested for trafficking, possession of drugs

GREENCASTLE, Ind. (WISH) – Jail officials say they arrested a visitor to the Putnamville Correctional Facility after they attempted to bring drugs to an inmate.

Police arrested 39-year-old Adell Mabry of Indianapolis. They say she tried to give an inmate, Dennis Bretzlaff, several bags of methamphetamine and heroin. Mabry had six small packages and was attempting to hide them on her.

A correctional officer arrested Mabry on preliminary charges of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Putnam County Jail.

Bretzlaff is currently serving time for a burglary and for escape in Marion County.
