Pedestrian, 2 cars involved in Monrovia crash

MONROVIA, Ind. (WISH) — Emergency crews were called to a serious crash just north of Monrovia Monday morning.

It happened on State Road 39, just south of County Road 1000 S, around 7:45 a.m.

According to dispatchers in Hendricks County, the crash involved two vehicles and a male pedestrian who had been struck. Police on scene say the male pedestrian was pinned between the vehicles after the crash.

A medical helicopter was first called to the scene. Police say the man was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

It’s unclear if the individuals in the vehicle were hurt.
