Potholes, snow occupying circle city’s attention

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Department of Public Works is working around the circle city to fill potholes before snow falls on Thursday night.

Thursday afternoon, 12 crews were working to fill holed with a cold asphalt patch until asphalt plants reopened and the potholes could be fixed permanently.

Crews were working around the following locations:

  • 6200 to 6599 Georgetown Road
  • 2709 Kessler Boulevard
  • 3691 N Capitol Avenue
  • 5400 Binford Boulevard
  • 7350 Allisonville Road
  • 8711 River Crossing Boulevard

While crews were fixing potholes, the Indy Snow Force activated 40 drivers for the snow fall that was anticipated on Thursday night.

DPW planned to monitor the weather conditions all night long to make travel for Hoosiers on Friday easy and safe.
