Pendleton jail to feature WISH-TV heroin reports
PENDLETON, Ind. (WISH) — A local jail is hoping to use a series of 24-Hour News 8 reports to spotlight the war on drugs.
The Pendleton Correctional Facility will soon feature a number of reports 24-Hour News 8 aired earlier this month as part of our special Heroin at Home: Heartache and Hope special.
The reports examined the problem of heroin in central Indiana and offered solutions for those in need of help.
Jail officials hope the programs will be eye-opening for inmates.
Officials say many offenders enter the facility unaware of the damage drug abuse can cause.
