Former Indy airport terminal land to become medical complex

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two firms will develop more than 400 acres of land near an old Indianapolis International Airport terminal, officials announced Tuesday afternoon.

Athletes Business Network will build a medical complex that will offer help to those with brain injuries.

Holladay Properties will try to attract development projects on the land near and along West Washington Street.

Indianapolis Airport Authority Executive Director Mario Rodriguez says the goal of the projects is to help the economy.

The airport says the move could create more than 3,000 jobs.
