You Can Go Back campaign aims to help you finish a degree

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) — A new program is proving it’s never too late to learn.

The You Can Go Back program is aimed at 750,000 Hoosiers with college credits but no degree.

It encourages adults to complete their degree.

Supported by $7.5 million in grants, the program has a number of incentives to encourage Hoosiers to return to school.

Columbus Mayor Jim Lienhoop said You Can Go Back meets a big need.

“The You Can Go Back campaign provides our region a vital new tool that has been missing until now,” Lienhoop said Tuesday. “[It’s] a better way to identify, recruit and support those adults who wish to complete a post-secondary credential leading to a well paying job.”

The movie is part of an effort to increase the number of Hoosiers who have higher than a high school diploma by 2025.
