Fan makes Kanye West a GoFundMe to help him get out of debt
(KRON) – If you haven’t heard by now, Kanye West is supposedly $53 million in debt, according to tweets from his Twitter account last weekend.
Now a fan wants to help him get out of debt.
“Yeezus” fan Jeremy Piatt created a GoFundMe page for Kanye on Monday naming it “Get Kanye Out of Debt.”
Piatt posted, “Kanye West, prolific entertainer/fashion icon/celebrity/member of the Kardashian family needs our help!”
After announcing his debt, Kanye then asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to “invest $1 billion into Kanye West ideas.”
Many people are skeptical of his debt, especially since his wife, Kim Kardashian, reportedly made $52.5 million in 2015.
But it seems that other fans just want to help the rapper. As of Wednesday morning, the account had already raised $788.
“As Kanye West has told us time and time again he is the ‘greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time’. Great artists need to be supported financially to achieve their full potential,” Piatt posted on the account.
Piatt updated on Tuesday that he did not want a penny from this donation and would like everything to go to Kanye.
