Three IUPUI Students Enter Red Bull Can You Make It? Challenge!
They call themselves, “The Indy Three!” Sydney, Jacey and Dymon are IUPUI students who recently entered Red Bull’s Can You Make It Challenge, where they send college teams of three students backpacking across Europe for a week. The catch is that the only currency they will have is cans of Red Bull!
There are 165 teams from 50+ countries across the globe and they’ll have seven days to travel across Europe in April. Selected teams will be flown to one of the five starting points in Europe. Each team will hand over their cash, cards, and phones in exchange for 24 cans of Red Bull and a smartphone. All teams will leave from the starting points at the same time on April 12th and have one week to make it the final destination by April 19th with various checkpoints along the way.
The selection process to send the girls to Europe is from February 15th – March 7th. A social voting period will take place from February 15th-February 25th to select the top 656 teams in the world! Then, the judges will select 164 teams to compete (18 will be selected from the United States) (*one Wild Card team for a team 18-35 will be selected as well as the Contiki Team).
