Dick Wolfsie stops by Circle City Donut Dash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each and every week, Dick Wolfsie shares an exciting and unique story with a connection to central Indiana.

This time, Dick Wolfsie stopped by the Circle City Donut Dash, a 5k event that offered participants two options to join in the fun.

Those who like a more leisurely pace could have taken part in the walker-friendly 5k.  For those who are of a more competitive nature, there was also a 5k race for those so individuals.

However, that’s not all,  midway through the race, participants stopped and chowed down on a dozen donuts before continuing their race.

Dick Wolfsie talked to organizers, spectators, participants and even the winner of the unique competition.

The Circle City Donut Dash is a race with the benefits going to Teachers Treasures.  Working with nearly 300 schools, Teachers’ Treasurers benefits more than 100,000 Marion County school children.
