Taste of Hope benefits high school helping troubled teens

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Some Indianapolis residents filled up on food for a good cause Sunday.

Taste of Hope featured food from local chefs and restaurants.

Proceeds go to Hope Academy, Indiana’s only high school for teens recovering from drug or alcohol addiction.

Sunday’s event highlighted the school’s 10th anniversary.

“I always say it’s the best kept secret in Indianapolis that we have this beautiful school to help these young people, really make a difference in their life and get their lives back on track,” Rachelle Gardner from Hope Academy explained.

More than 200 people attended the sold-out event.
