Temperatures to cool down Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – After record-breaking temperatures across central Indiana on Saturday, temperatures begin to fall closer to normal levels over the next few days.

Rain that had filled the southern half of the state during the overnight will move out this morning.

Clouds will slowly break through the morning, leaving central Indiana with a partly cloudy sky this afternoon. Temperatures will likely be about 20 degrees cooler than yesterday, but still about eight to 10 degrees warmer than average for this time of year, as many top out in the lower to mid 50s.

High temperatures will return to the 40s to start off the work and school week. A more potent system moving in Wednesday and Thursday could bring a chance for rain and snow to central Indiana.
